Acadia Packaging History
Founded in 1971 by the Rogers family in Crowley, Louisiana, and operated by two generations of the family throughout its history, Acadia Industries began as a small bag manufacturer. The company later pivoted into importing and supplying flexible industrial bulk containers, while also growing a notable mesh crawfish-bag business under the leadership of second-generation brothers Danny and Mike Rogers.
With a strong focus on treating customers like family, Acadia Industries developed long-standing relationships that have made the company a trusted name across southern Louisiana. Today, Acadia Industries continues to be guided by family-driven service and commitment to quality.
Acadia Packaging Joins United Bags
In March 2024, Acadia Industries became Acadia Packaging, a division of United Bags Inc., marking a new chapter in the company’s history. The acquisition expanded Acadia’s product offerings beyond FIBCs and mesh crawfish sacks to include United Bags’ extensive range of industrial packaging solutions. By leveraging United Bags’ logistics capabilities, technologies, and innovation resources, Acadia Packaging has grown its operational capacity while maintaining its loyal employee base.
